Livelihood
The main goal of livelihood security program is to improve the livelihood security of victims of war and vulnerable communities of Somalia.
Education
During wars, schools were looted and playground used as IDP or graveyard. The vast majority of primary school teachers today have never received adequate training. Moreover, the communities have limited capacity to meet even the most basic teachers, salaries.
WASH
The construction and rehabilitation of hand dug wells is challenging factor in the provision of safe water. Identifying less expensive and more sustainable to the provision of safe drinking water
Capacity building
It is imperative for the communities to take responsibility for the provision of basic education and ownership for their schools. Education is a factor of unity and integration in Somalia, overcoming social and economic differences and leading to more peaceful society
Health
The diseases are affecting more the children under 5 years who are malnourished and have no ability to defend the diseases. In addition to that, lactating mothers who are malnourished were susceptible to epidemic diseases. Elderly people were also the same. Also there is a gap in the medical sources in Somalia. There is shortage of medical services and medical sources. Few International and LNGO are present in Somalia
Shelter / Resettlements of the IDPs
MCDO is protecting and helping to access and informed response critical for the survival of IDPs. In Somalia the community should get an emergency home / shelter and best public health , must provide the basis for humanitarian action. Parties to the conflict must be integrated in these processes IDPs building concrete block houses, new IDPs receive emergency shelters such as tents.
